Kyrgyzstan is Georgia’s largest export partner, the United States are the largest import country

Georgian external merchandise trade (excluding non-declared trade) reached USD 7 755.7 million in January-April 2025 (15.3 percent higher year-on-year). The exports grew by 14.2 percent (USD 2 014.4 million), while the increase of imports was 15.7 percent (USD 5 741.3 million). The share of negative trade balance in external trade turnover constituted 48.1 percent. Totally it was USD 3 726.9 million in January-April 2025.
The top ten trading partners by exports had the share of 80.2 percent in the total exports of Georgia in January-April 2025: Kyrgyzstan (USD 450.0 million), Kazakhstan (USD 258.4 million) and Azerbaijan (USD 215.1 million).
The top ten trading partners by imports had the share of 72.7 percent in the total imports of Georgia in January-April 2025: the USA (USD 881.2 million), Türkiye (USD 814.2 million) and Russia (USD 669.6 million).
The top ten trading partners in the total external trade turnover of Georgia had the share of 69.9 percent in January-April 2025: Türkiye (USD 914.3 million), USA (USD 902.0 million) and Russia (USD 859.1 million).
