Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Serbia Madi Atamkulov warmly invited the Minister of Domestic and Foreign Trade of Serbia Jagoda Lazarević to attend the International Forum Astana, the largest regional gathering focused on political and economic cooperation, to strengthen bilateral cooperation, notably trade relations, between Serbia and Kazakhstan. The both sides acknowledged the necessity of implementing agreements aimed at increasing and diversifying trade volume, which they initially announced during the official visit of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Serbia in November 2024.
Minister Lazarević agreed to participate in the Forum and highlighted her department’s ongoing commitment to developing and facilitating trade relations with Kazakh companies.
Minister Lazarević has also mentioned that it was highly important to carefully craft an agenda for the upcoming fourth meeting of the Intergovernmental Kazakh-Serbian Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
