Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Mykola Solskyi and Spanish Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Minister Luis Planas Puchades have discussed the export of Ukrainian-produced agricultural products towards Europe.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Solskyi expressed gratitude to the Spanish minister for providing assistance to Ukraine. In particular, Spain was among those countries that signed a letter from the relevant ministers of 14 EU countries to the European Commission.
The letter expressed concern over the temporary ban on the import of agricultural products from Ukraine to five EU countries, and called on the European Commission to explain that decision.
According to Puchades, Spain is following developments in Ukraine and is willing to further provide support for the country.
