In the case when trade between Armenia and Russia was 42 percent in the first half of this year compared to the same period of the previous year, this growth rate reached about 50 percent in January-July. Dmitry Volvach, Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development, told about this to a press conference Tuesday.
According to him, this amount constitute more than about US$1.6 billion.
“Despite the negative projections by prestigious international organizations, Armenia has recorded a double-digit economic growth,” Volvach added, considering this indicator extremely noteworthy.
