Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili on Tuesday discussed trade, economic and investment relations as well as future cooperation prospects with a Government delegation of Slovakia.

In their meeting in Tbilisi, Khutsishvili expressed gratitude to the delegation for their support for Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration, the Ministry said, and provided an overview of the country’s macroeconomic situation and recent reforms.

The body said the Slovak delegates acknowledged the potential for a “strong partnership” between the two countries and expressed their commitment to further strengthening the ties.

The delegation included Denisa Saková, Slovakia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister, Ladislav Kamenický, the Finance Minister, Peter Kažimír, the Governor of the National Bank, Rastislav Podhorec, the General Director of Exim Bank and Matus Bushovski, the country’s Ambassador to Georgia.
