Chairman of the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee Shahin Bagirov has met with Director General of the Norwegian Customs, Oystein Bormer on the sidelines of the 141st/142nd sessions of the Customs Cooperation Council of the World Customs Organization.
The meeting focused on the prospects for cooperation between the customs authorities of the two countries, further expansion of relations, sharing of best practices, especially the study of the Norwegian experience in determining the customs value.
The two also exchanged views on strengthening of cooperation among customs services of the regional countries in order to improve the activity and increase the efficiency of the WCO European Regional Office for Capacity Building in Baku.
The sides also discussed the agenda of the session, election for Customs Cooperation Council of the WCO.
