Ukraine exports over 48.4M t of grains, pulses

In this marketing year (MY) (from July 1, 2022, to June 26, 2023), Ukraine exported 48.424 million tonnes of grains and legumes.
According to Ukrinform, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reported this.

It is noted that in 2022/2023 MY Ukraine exported 16.625 million tonnes of wheat, 2.68 million tonnes of barley, 18,000 tonnes of rye, and 28.793 million tonnes of corn.

For comparison, from July 2021 to June 29, 2022, Ukraine exported 48.355 million tonnes of grains and pulses, including 18.72 million tonnes of wheat, 5.747 million tonnes of barley, 161,500 tonnes of rye, and 23.409 million tonnes of corn.

During 26 days of June, Ukraine exported 3.087 million tonnes of grains and pulses (1.256 million tonnes during 29 days of June last year), including 1.127 million tonnes of wheat (122,000 tonnes in June last year), 33,000 tonnes of barley (31,000 tonnes in June 2022), and 1.922 million tonnes of corn (1.092 million tonnes in June 2022). In June this year and in June last year, Ukraine did not export rye.

In addition, since the beginning of 2022/2023 MY Ukraine exported 151,000 tonnes of flour (in 2021/2022 MY, 70,700 tonnes).

As reported earlier, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, in January-May 2023 Ukraine exported over 22.5 million tonnes of grains, including more than 14.3 million tonnes of corn, over 7.2 million tonnes of wheat, and more than 977,000 tonnes of barley.
