Three Chinese companies still Serbia’s biggest exporters

Serbia’s biggest exporters in 2023 were three companies owned by Chinese companies – Zijin Mining, Zijin Copper and the HBIS Group, said the Serbian Ministry of Finance.

Goods and services worth seven billion euros were exported by the 15 biggest exporters in Serbia.

The exports of Zijin Mining from Brestovac amounted to 1.15 billion, of Bor-based Zijin Copper to 746.3 million euros, while the HBIS Group, the owner of the Smederevo Steel Mill, had exports worth 549.1 million euros.

The ZF company from the city of Pancevo is fourth with exports worth 504.8 million euros, followed by Leoni from Prokuplje with 489.3 million worth of exports.

Pirot-based Tigar Tyres is also on the list with 454.9 million euros worth of exports, Bosch from Belgrade with 453.1 million euros, Belgrade-based Henkel with 405 million and Yura from Raca with 394.3 million euros.

Also among the biggest exporters are the Serbian Oil Industry (NIS), Hemofarm from Vrsac, Belgrade-based SCM Power, Philip Morris from Nis, Minth Automotive from Loznica and Gorenje from Valjevo.
