In October 2022, Ukraine exported about 2.12 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops. More than 10.85 million tonnes of grain has been exported since the beginning of the marketing year.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Between October 1, 2022 and October 17, 2022, Ukraine exported 1,035 thousand tonnes of corn, 957 thousand tonnes of wheat, 122 thousand tonnes of barley and 0.4 thousand tonnes of rye.
In addition, Ukraine’s flour exports reached 6 thousand tonnes.
According to the ministry, the total exported volume of Ukrainian-produced grain, leguminous crops and flour came to 2.13 million tonnes, which is 97.7% of the volume exported in October 2021.
Since the beginning of the marketing year 2022/2023, Ukraine has exported 10.85 million tonnes of grain and flour, which is 65.4% of the volume exported in the marketing year 2021/2022.
