For four months, textile products worth $1.1 billion were exported, the State Statistics Committee reported.
According to the committee data, in January-April 2022, Uzbekistan exported textiles in the amount of $1.1 billion.
This amounted to 15.1% of total exports, which is 24% more than in the same period last year.
It was noted that over the past four months, 452 types of textile products were exported from Uzbekistan to 62 countries of the world.
Textile export volume is as follows:
• cotton yarn – $592 million;
• ready-made knitwear – $249 million;
• knitted fabrics – $90.7 million;
• cotton fabrics – $48 million;
• silk and silk products – $21 million;
• cotton products – $14.2 million;
• carpets – $9.7 million;
• other textile products – $41 million.
