Prime Minister Ana Brnabic stated today at the conference on the application of digital solutions in traditional industries that every second job that has been opened in Serbia in the past year is in the IT sector, noting that the export of this sector will exceed EUR 2.5 billion this year, as said on the website of the Government of Serbia.
According to her, “the surplus will amount to more than EUR 1.5 billion”.
She pointed out that the application of artificial intelligence is extremely important for the future and competitiveness of our economy, but also for increasing wages and pensions and creation of added value.
According to President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce Marko Cadez, artificial intelligence is little used for innovation and the creation of new products and services, and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce will work to promote this in the coming period.
– We plan to increase the number of companies that we will support and that will go through the process of digital transformation to be able to use artificial intelligence. Our goal is to connect the technological community with traditional industry – Cadez concluded.
He pointed out that the question that is being asked now is no longer what artificial intelligence can do, but how to find the best connection between human and artificial intelligence, which would be used in the creation of new products and services.
