Based on the economic growth data published today, we can already summarize the trends of economic growth in 2023 – first of all, I would like to note that the economy of Georgia maintains the high economic growth rate recorded in 2021-2022, and we expect that in 2023 the economy of Georgia will grow by about 7%. – This is how Vakhtang Tsintsadze, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, assessed the rate of economic growth for the month of November 2023 by “Geostat”.

According to the deputy minister, according to January-November data, trade, construction, transport and warehousing, information communications and banking and insurance sectors made a positive contribution to economic growth.”Economic growth was facilitated by the trends observed in terms of investment activities, as well as the indicators of income from the export of goods and tourism.
