Azerbaijan-Georgia trade turnover approaches $700 million

Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with Georgia reached $668.53 million in January-July 2026, up 43.8% compared with the same period last year, according to data from the State Customs Committee.

Trade with Georgia accounted for 2.29% of Azerbaijan’s total trade turnover, making Georgia the country’s sixth-largest trading partner, Caliber.Az reports.

During the same period in 2025, Georgia ranked 10th, with a 1.61% share.

Azerbaijan’s exports to Georgia rose 1.5 times year on year to $576.71 million, accounting for 2.98% of total exports, compared with 2.51% a year earlier.

Imports from Georgia increased by 11.2% to $91.82 million. Their share of Azerbaijan’s total imports rose to 0.93%, from 0.61% in January-July 2025.
